I reeeally need to get my head sorted. Too much fun, laziness, and flunking, now I need to focus and work.
Very behind on my stuff. But, I will (hope) to get it done in the end.

Uni is going great. Met so many lovely peeps. Feeling very open with myself, boosted my confidence so much but I still need to come out to my parents. Kind of my albatross but the sooner it comes out the better.
On a related note though my mum sounds like she's going through a lot of stress, especially after her income coming down from me leaving home; I don't quite know if the shock and understandable disappointment of her son being gay will help.
Been asking her a few favours, and she's been very aggressive down the phone. But oh well, best not dwell on the negatives.

My finance has started sorting itself out, thank GOD! Can I get a woop woop up in here?!
Still some things they want but as I said, need my mum to send them off for me.
I'm thinking of getting a job too. There's a gamestation not far from here which I could walk to I guess. That'd be ideal, only thing is I'm in for half of my week in uni, off Monday afternoons and free Wednesday and Thursdays - but they still sometimes timetable things for these days like trips or workshops so I don't know yet.
But if it's more money for me and something I enjoy it can't be bad.

They're also selling a PS3 for £160 or something, preowned, 40GB this week. Might jump on the deal as I have the cash and there's some things I'm interested in on it. But there's also the option of going that extra bit further and investing in a laptop for gaming because I'd love to play stuff like L4D or TF2 on a PC. For all the custom user created content on the former, and the booming community on the latter (or so I've heard).

But, I really need to start to try and budget. I'm loving cooking for myself, sometimes for other flatmates (or even people THEY have round )but it can prove expensive. Especially stuff like chicken or fish. Even vegetables and fruit, which I'm eating more of, trying to substitute those sweeties with natural stuff, but even that's expensive (or maybe I'm being a scrooge and thinking EVERYTHING is extortionate). But the government says we should eat healthier but how when it's so pricey?!
Sigh... - I did make a lovely, and I mean lovely, Chicken dish earlier, with a tangy, kind of zingy tomato sauce, with mushrooms in it, salad, houmous, and cottage cheese on the side though.
OOFT, it was fit. I'm so making that again.

I really wanna do more art too. Especially digital art.
I bought this tablet cause I wanted one and thought it'd make me do more art outside of work....IT DIDN'T!
First and foremost though, I need to do my actual course work though. Anything else will have to wait. I do feel my artistic superpowers draining though.
Cottage cheese will be my kryptonite methinks, mmm~

I'm loving my housemates too though. There's Tam and Tez the twins; they're lovely. It's like, where have you been all my life?!

Then there's Saqib, who before he came to uni had a strict Muslim upbringing, but has just denied everything since he came up here. Smoking, drinking, drugs....yarrr. We're trying to tell him it's no good but hey, not gonna lecture him. He's a ledge too.
We haven't actually been out THAT much. We usually just have movie nights in or whatevs, but if we do go out, we party hard

So yeah. This is possibly the longest most informative journal I've EVER done. But it's 3am, I can't sleep (yeah my sleep pattern is mayjah fuxxed - bunked two days off this week...) and I needed something to do, thought I'd give my dA some love <3
